We are looking for:

We would like to appoint highly motivated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioners to join our caring and inclusive Pre-School. You would be proactive and positive, a team player with experience and passion to contribute strongly to our stimulating, high quality and innovative early years provision for our two to four year olds.

Pre-School Assistant(s)

To join our small Bank Staff team, casual hours available - hours and days vary according to need.

Pre-School opening term time only: Open Mon morning/ Tue, Wed and Thurs open all day/ closed Friday.

 

Location:

Barton St. David Pre-School, the Village Hall Barton St. David TA11 6BS.

Keinton Mandeville 1 mile/ Glastonbury 6 miles/ Somerton 6 miles.

 

Description:

Our small long standing and successful committee run Pre-School is happy and friendly, set in the village hall with strong community and local school links. We are looking to add to our Bank Staff team and can provide a delightful, supportive learning and working environment. We value our staff and provide training opportunities and the experience to grow and extend your career.

 

Qualifications: 

• You will hold a level 2 or preferably level 3 Early Years qualification and have experience of working in an early years setting.

• Paediatric first aid, a current safeguarding certificate are essential and a food hygiene certificate desirable

 

Pay: £9.85/ hour

 

Barton St. David Pre-School is committed to safeguarding and promotes the welfare of all its children and expects all staff to share this commitment. All successful candidates will need to satisfy the requirements of an enhanced DBS check which includes children’s barred list information. Two references will be taken up prior to appointment and a completed application form is required.
